Are you called to be a priest?

What is a Priest with RCWP Canada?

Priests are ordained for RCWP Canada according to the Rite of the Roman Catholic Church.

They are ordained for service to the people of God, particularly to the faith community that supports their call to ordination.

They are responsible for working with their individual faith communities or for carrying out their individual ministries in ways that reflect the rich heritage of the Roman Catholic tradition and that shape a more inclusive, Christ-centred church in the twenty-first century.

Priests are called to exemplify the changes we wish to see in the church: renewed theology, liturgy, and pastoral practice which better reflects the spirit and teachings of Vatican Council II.
